Challenge

Casa da Calçada Relais & Chateaux was set up in one of the most beautiful palaces of the 16th century and is today one of the most emblematic places in Amarante. In addition, Casa da Calçada also includes the Michelin Star restaurant, Largo do Paço. The challenge that was proposed to us was to create communication that would engage their target audience in a more emotional way, presenting the offers and experiences available, as well as its strong connection to the city of Amarante. The intention was also to focus more significantly on a stronger digital presence.

Approach

The strategy in the case of Casa da Calçada consisted of optimising the brand's presence on the existing Facebook and Instagram social networks and creating content that would match the profile of its target audience. The strategy involved the creation of daily posts focused mainly on the products and services of the Hotel and restaurant, available experiences and in the Amarante city. An emotionally strong communication campaign was also developed, whose claim was “It’s time to make memories”.  A video and a photo session was undertaken for that purpose, directed at the various types of target audience. It was centred on the very emotional, at the different environments and scenarios possible in Amarante where each of the persons appearing was able to collect unforgettable memories.
